Assembly help
Tips for a smooth build, the manual for every kit, and what to do if a part is missing.
Before you start
- 1Clear a tableGood light and a flat surface. A tray or a lid keeps small parts from rolling away.
- 2Read the step firstLook at the whole step before you press anything out, so you know where each part goes.
- 3Press parts out gentlyPush from the back of the board, a little at a time. Don’t twist or pull them out.
- 4Check the numbersEvery part is numbered on its board. Match it with the manual before you fit it.
- 5Don’t force a fitIf a part is tight, check it sits the right way round before you press harder.
- 6Take breaksMost kits take a few evenings. Stop at the end of a step and pick it up again tomorrow.
